Birch Bowl #10, Yellow w/Textured Rim by Nate White

Beautiful hand turned, hand carved Birch Bowl created by Nate White, a current member of our Artisan Development Program here at North House. This bowl is about 5 5/8" across, 1 1/2" deep and stands 1 7/8" high.  With a beautiful natural finish inside, showcasing the natural concentric circles of the tree that has been turned on center, you may not want to put anything in it as it will hide the gorgeous nature of the birch! This bowl has a hand carved 1" textured rim, again in the natural birch wood color and the rest of the base has been painted with Sunflower milk paint. The base of the bowl has a depressed foot, enhanced with additional hand carving showcasing the strokes of the knife.  Nate is a wonderful woodworker and to own one of his bowls is a special treat!
