Hearth Broom by Elizabeth Belz

What a lovely addition to hang by your hearth! This beautiful broom is entirely hand-crafted by Elizabeth Belz, a talented blacksmith and wizard of broom-making, spinning and dying yarn and other talents.  This broom is 28" from the tip of it's curved and twisted hand crafted steel handle to the tail of the hand-crafted broom sweep.  Weighing in just under one pound, this will easily sweep away any debris and ash from your hearth or can just as easily be used to clean up your tent, sweep under your dining room table or maybe even tickle your dog.  Elizabeth teaches blacksmithing here at North House Folk School.  Her hand-forged tools can be found here on campus in our school store as well as a variety of her items here in the online store.  In addition to her blacksmithing skills and gifts for sale, Elizabeth also makes brooms, spins and dyes wool and creates unique yarns that are sold here on campus.
