Solid Maple Sandwich Board by Jim Sannerud

This board feels so great to hold! Handmade from solid Maple by North House instructor and woodworker Jim Sannerud, this cutting board will surely become one of your favorites! The board is a solid 2" thick with all four sides gently beveled down to the flip side of the board.  The board itself is 9" long, 5 1/4" wide at the base and 3" wide at the top.  Handwash, keep out of direct sunlight or direct heat, don't let it soak in water and once in awhile love it with a food-friendly finishing oil or beeswax to keep it fresh forever.  

For over 30 years, Jim’s passion for craft has been fueled by his respect for the natural properties of wood and a strong sense of his Scandinavian heritage. Even from the same tree, each piece of fresh wood holds the potential for discovery and movement, and the tool marks, gentle curves, and hand-carving on each functional piece tells the story of its creation.
