White Turned Birch Bowl #8 with Narrow Band by Nate White

Lovely shallow bowl hand created by Nate White from local birch.  This sweet bowl is 6 1/4" across and has a distinctive raised rim about 3/8" from the top of the bowl that is 1/4" wide.  The lovely concentric birch grain is kept in its natural state for the interior of the bowl while the outer surface of the bowl is painted in a matte pearl milk paint color. The foot of this bowl is recessed and has additional hand carved etching in the center.  Nate is a current member of our Artisan Development Program and a skilled woodworker. We are fortunate to have some of his bowls now available to sell to our visitors both online and in our school store on campus. I hope you love these bowls as much as we do. They are indeed special!
