12"x12" Gudbransdal Painting by Tara Austin

Beautiful crafted Gudbrandsdal style hand-painted wall plaque on cradled board by North House Folk School's Resident Artisan Tara Austin. This lovely painting is 12" square and is painted on a black base using shades of blue, white, green ochre, and a fiery orange red color.

Tara loves to push the boundaries of the beauty of Rosemaling and her bowls and other items in our school store are a beautiful tribute to her skills in both modern and traditional painting styles.  During her stay in the Artisan Development program Tara will be focusing on the folk art of Norwegian Rosemaling. It combines two of her passions, painting and plants.
