A wooden bowl also contains the story of the food you eat and the people you share meals with. A wooden bowl is personable and warm. With frequent use and care, it becomes part of your story.

This beautiful turned bowl stands 2-3/4" tall and measures 10" by 10-1/2" across. It is painted with brick red milk paint.

Cooper Ternes is a former North House Folk School intern who turns bowls in the Scandinavian folk tradition. He is currently in our Artisan resident program. The tools and approach of these old makers inform the process he uses today.
