Nordic Tales

A beautiful hardbound collection of 17 folktales from the Nordic region - Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, and Denmark.  The stories in Nordic Tales were collected, translated, and published in the late 19th and early 20th centuries - this edition was printed in 2019. A full listing of the sources of each story is provided. Beautiful illustrations by Ulla Thynell accompany each story. The book is divided into three sections: Transformation, Wit, and Journeys.
