Welsh Stick Chairs

This beautifully soft-bound book is a replicated edition of the beloved Welsh Stick Chairs by John Brown, published by Lost Art Press.  John Brown, a Welshman, made hundreds of these chairs, and in 1990 he published a small book that explained how he made the chairs, plus some history of chairmaking in Wales and a critique of the Windsor chairs they were sometimes confused with. This quirky softcover book is short enough to read in an afternoon, but filled with enough information and inspiration to last a lifetime. Original photographic illustrations and words by John Brown.
